Position Summary |
Network Engineer (L3) The Network Engineer is responsible for controlling network faults, performing Root Cause Analysis of Faults, Discussing Permanent Corrective Actions with various stake holders and implementing the routing and optimization plans, resolving and escalating incidents to ensure the highest levels of availability and adherence to service level agreements. Accountable for the technical and operational overview of all networks and security devices and supporting applications for which support agreements with customers have been constructed. |

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities |
EducationGraduation or 3 years Polytechnic Diploma or equivalent with certification like CCNA/CCNPExperienceMinimum 7 years of experience in networking products such as routers, switches, and wireless devices. Good troubleshooting and reporting/presentation skills. Should have worked on Core Switches/Routers, UTM Firewalls and other security devices.Knowledge & Skills (Functional/Technical)Hands on experience in various networking products such as routers, switches, wireless and security devices. Good knowledge of TCP/IP stack routing, switching and subnetting Expertise in Routing protocols like BGP, RIP, OSPF and EIGRP Experience in configuring Trunk, VTP, STP, RSTP, VLANs, IPSEC/GRE. Develop and maintain architecture diagrams and documents. Experience in MPLS / QoS Complies with all company policies and procedures Leadership / Managerial AttributesTask delegation and resource management with effective people management. Documentation with regards to SOP, Hardening, Policies and Procedures, Best Practices and guidelines. Project planning and execution with quality deliverables. Risk assessment and mitigation plan.
